Once I get a booking, how do I get paid?
Today, Pogby focuses on a booking "Guarantee". When a planner books your space via Pogby, they put down their credit card to secure the reservation. In the event of a "no show" or failure to cancel per the "Terms and Conditions", we will make best effort to retrieve the agreed upon deposit. At this time, we expect the venue to take final payment for the event directly.

Why should I sign up for Pogby?
Attracting new customers is time consuming and expensive. Pogby simplifies this and helps drive your events business by reaching the event planner audience. Pogby also provides you, the venue manager, with a number of features to manage your events calendar. All you need is an internet connection. Availability is updated automatically when booked through Pogby. Each venue has the ability to confirm, re-accommodate, or decline bookings. In addition, we understand that planners can call you and walk-in, so you'll have the ability to add events via the secure Pogby Venue Manager website.

Do I need to make any technical changes to upload Pogby? Do I have to have special software?
No special software is needed. The system is easy and all via the web. Our only recommendation is to add a link to your own website to get the booking capability more visible.

We have multiple ways to attract planners. First and foremost, we are being followed by many meeting and event planners...they are seeking choices and an easy booking process. The more venues we have, the more traffic/visibility for everyone. The goal is to make finding the venue, checking availability, selecting and booking a package an easy process. In addition, we use Twitter to announce new venues, Search Engine Marketing, our blog to write our progress to an active group of readers, and our news section for new features, partners, and press. Also, each venue can put a link on their own website to the booking engine to increase their visibility and show off their booking capabilities.

What is the Venue Management system? Do I have to integrate my existing calender for my venues with Pogby?
Our Venue Management system is a very simple to use, secure, web-based, calendar to manage your event space bookings. Bookings in your current calendar can be easily transferred over via our web interface, or you can arrange to have a file sent for us to load. You can continue to use your other calendar system in addition to ours. But, Pogby will need to be the master calendar to ensure the correct availability is reflected to planners wanting to book events at your venue.
