Joshua Gooch (josh@pogby.com) — Founder & CEO
Josh's unique experience has enabled him to create the practical yet innovative concept behind Pogby. He has deep ecommerce experience with various market making online businesses such as egghead.com, chanel.com, finishline.com, esteelauder.com, dowjones.com and thenorthface.com. Josh was most recently the product owner of jetBlue's website generating 75% of corporate revenues and overseeing the loyalty program trueBlue. Josh brings direct event planning experience to Pogby as a prior Catering and event Manager with Marriott. Josh graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Economics and an MBA from Cornell University.
Jon Brandt (jon@pogby.com) — President & Chief Strategy Officer
Jon is a hard driven, experienced leader and entrepreneur with experience in many different sectors. His most recent venture, National Healthcareer Association (NHA), which he founded and ran as CEO, was recently sold to Providence Equities in June of 2009. His previous successes include:
CEO/President - Med Ed Inc, National Career Institute 1998-2004 — Three career schools sold to a strategic buyer.
President - Raw Energy, Inc 1988-1993 — Company acquired by a strategic buyer.
Mark Mannino (mark@pogby.com) — Chief Architect
Mark Mannino has over 20 years of technical design and management experience, spanning the fields of Telecom, Biotech, Professional Services, Entertainment and Publishing. He has gravitated towards the needs and challenges of the modern day start-up, Pogby being his third successive, after managing high volume sites for CondeNét—including Epicurious.com and Style.com—and shockwave.com prior to that. He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
Danielle Sadighi (danielle@pogby.com) — Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Danielle brings to the table over 22 years of experience gathered from her career as a graphic designer and owner of her own advertising agency. She has spent the last 6 years over seeing and creating the Marketing and Advertising department of a national certification agency. Danielle graduated from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY with a BFA.
Liz Mazzei (liz@pogby.com) — Business Development Lead
After reading the TechCrunch article, Liz was inspired to contact Pogby and become part of the company's mission to transform the industry. Initially based in San Francisco, Liz dived in and signed up many different venues in the Bay Area. After a quick adventure to South America, Liz came to New York to join the Pogby team. With energy and a passion for results gained from her previous experience in product development, marketing and sales at Tech Start-up companies in the advertising industry, Liz is driving the adoption by venues to gain critical mass in New York. Liz graduated with a BS in International Business and a BA in Spanish from San Francisco State University.

Amy Curtis-McIntyre— Board Member
As the former Vice President of Marketing at JetBlue Airways, Amy set the standard for innovative with effective marketing that got results. For her efforts she was named Advertising Age's "Marketer of the Year", while less than three years after its debut, readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine named JetBlue "Best Domestic Airline". Amy was previously the Senior Vice President, Brand Communications for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of Old Navy (Gap, Inc).
Darlene Miranda — Board Member
Darlene Miranda, a Senior Manager at American Express has 15 years of Marketing and Business Development experience across various industries. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. Darlene joined Pogby because of the creative solution they devised to help meet the needs of event planners and venues. As cliché as she thinks it sounds, Darlene's favorite event was her 2006 wedding...exactly what she wanted, a truly magical evening.
Joseph L. Kennedy — Technical and Security Advisor
CEO of Kennedy Innovations, Joe has over 16 years experience in the design and development of Enterprise Systems. He has worked as Chief of User Experience and Chief Architecture for Fortune 500 Companies and has consulted in the Financial, Medical, Entertainment, Technology, Education, Real Estate, Tourism, Media and Internet Startup fields. Mr. Kennedy speaks internationally on topics ranging from Web 2.0 to Enterprise Architecture. He has been a Featured Expert on Meet The Boss for the Web 2.0 space and is a member of the Technology Advisory Boards for mValent and the CIO Zone. He has been designated as a Judge for industry events including this year's American Business Awards and recently earned an Honorable Mention for User Expereience at the 2008 Adobe Max Awards. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Computer Science from Clark University.
